Army. I have a health care related issue and I'm not surprised at all
that I can't get any help from the VA for this tooth of mine.
If you feel so inclined. Please write your congressman and/or senator
and express the need for a better health care system in this country.
Especially for people who've given something up for it.

The thing about the VA is that you have to be very persistant...and it can take kind of a long time. My dad was a disabled veteran and it took years before he was able to get his benefits. I have a friend who works for the VA, though she is in Seattle. She might be able to give you some pointers on what you'd need to include in your application to meet the the requirements. Let me know if you want me to put you in contact.
